The Client

Nesodden Sykkelklubb (Nesodden Cycling Club) was started in 2003 by a group of bicycle enthusiasts on Nesodden peninsular, just south of Norway’s capital Oslo. Today the club has about 300 members. A bid part of the membership is made up of children and youth.

The Project

In connection with the club’s 10-year anniversary in 2013, it was decided to change the design of the club’s cycle clothing. Work started in the fall of 2012, with an aim to have the new clothing line ready for the club’s annual training camp in Mallorca, Spain. This lead to a holistic view of the clubs graphic profile

The Solution

A bold new logotype with distinctive colours came to life with the intention to have an instant recognition during races and on digital platforms.

Along with the logo a whole new collection of apparel was designed. The cycling clothes have a great blend of function and form.

Concept & Inspiration


The Logotype

The logotype is built up of different parts. Together with the unique mark and the cycling symbol it has a strong level of recognition which is of great significance in the fast sport of cycling.
